Description: This Layer represents Backflow Devices located within DPW jurisdiction. Primary use of this layer is for asset management and work order tracking within DPW’s new Asset Management System (Trimble Unity Maintain). Backflow Prevention Devices prevent contaminated water from flowing back up the pipe into clean water. Data was extracted from existing asset data contained in LA County DPW’s outgoing Maintenance Management System.
