This layer was developed to support asset management, field operations, and integration with DPW ’s Asset Management System (Trimble Unity Maintain).Field Definitions / Attribute Overview:This dataset contains key attribute fields describing each asset. Notable/Unique fields include:CW_ASSETID: Active unique identifier used within the Trimble Unity asset-management system. ASSETNUM: Unique identifier assigned to each traffic sign asset in the inventory previously utilized in DPW’s old asset management system (Deprecated)SGN_CODE: Sign code based off the CA MUTCD representing the specific type and category of traffic sign.SGN_DSG: Additional description of the traffic sign, typically the posted speed or direction of an arrow.SGN_DIR: Indicates the direction the sign faces.STATUS: Describes the current status of the sign.LOCATION: Physical location of the traffic sign per street and cross street.SGN_STATUS: Operation condition of the sign (Deprecated).STREET: The street where the sign is installed.XSTREET: The cross street closest to the sign’s location in the direction of traffic.LR1: The direction of the sign in reference to the primary street.LR2: The direction of the sign in reference to the cross street.DIST: The distance from the cross street the sign is located at.REPLACED: Indicates the date the sign was replaced.Last updated or update frequency: 2026
